On Jan 30th, State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC）announced the award of bid for gas-dissolved-in-oil online monitoring device package for 2013,and Guodian Nanjing Automation Co., Ltd (SAC) was awarded the 30th package for oil chromatography online monitoring device, wherein 75 sets of new generation gas-dissolved-in-oil online monitoring device for smart substation transformer are included in the package in total.

The project will adopt NS801B new generation of transformer oil chromatography online monitoring device self-R&Ded by SAC in rigorous compliance with Technical Specification for Gas-dissolved-in-oil Online Monitoring Device and Inspection Specification for Substation Equipment Online Monitoring Device latest issued by National Energy Administration. The device is able to undertake continuous online inspection for such characteristic gases content dissolved in transformer oil as H2, CO, CO2, CH4, C2H2, C2H4, C2H6 etc. according to preset cycle, while expert system will be used to check the existence of potential fault and fault type,and sound-light alarm will be made according to the preset alarm value, such that transformer operation status can be mastered on real-time basis.

As new discipline to realize objective of new generation of national grid construction, SAC online monitoring keeps sound growth momentum in recent years as it is in service of numerous demo projects for SGCCandChina Southern Power Grid (CSG) in succession. This is the first successful inclusion of SAC NS801B new generation of transformer oil chromatography online monitoring device in SGCC centralized tender for smart substation transformer gas-dissolved-in-oil online monitoring device, which will bring positive influence to further expand online monitoring market share of SGCC smart substation.
